SantaCon NYC 2004

The Santas met at 10:12am at the TRIPLE 8 PALACE on 88 E. Broadway, underneath the Manhattan Bridge on the Manhattan side. When I arrived around 11, many were inside eating Dim Sum . Other Santas milled beneath the bridge laughing at each other's Santa conceptions.
This guy seemed to feel a kinship with the santas.
But with no English, he resorted to the pantomime of pointing to himself and then to me and the other santas.
I finally got the point when he took out a crucifix and repeated the pointing routine. Holy Saint Nick!
St. Blitzer
I asked Blitzer to pose again like a reindeer, expecting him to hold his hooves out again like in the photo above, but he got down on the filthy sidewalk before I could stop him. I didn't dare ask for anything else.
Santa Con in her orange jump suit gives me a thousand yard stare.
