I heart NY

I heart NY
I saw something about this on the Gothamist this morning and figured there would probably also be some new stuff on the Candy Factory wall. So I went out in the drizzle to check it out.

Looks like a modified Degas to me, but I haven’t been able to find the original.

Celso

Celso cutout on Wooster Street candy factory gate.
At the end of the Wooster Walk, this guy whipped out a marker and added a bikini. I think this was rude and childish. But I’m getting comments on my Flickr posting that this is a form of tribute. These pieces are individually drawn, cutout and pasted by Celso.
Another Celso woman. This one on Spring Street near Bowery.
