Origami Allen
A sweet portrait of Allen Ginsberg. People were invited to glue on colorful origami figures to it.
Howlin' Allen
A slightly more disturbing portrait of the poet. davidpullman.com
Freakiest Thing
I asked him what he called this. He asked me what I called this. I answered the freakiest thing I’ve seen today. He seemed happy with that.
Chick Track Faithful Recreation
Segment of what looks to be a faithful rendering of a popular Chick Tract. Ironic or devotional, I don’t know.

What Makes Someone a New Yorker

What Makes New Yorker
Art Around the Park continued on Sunday in Tompkins Square Park. The place was jumpin’. This one needs to be seen full size, there is so much fun in the details. From the different handwriting it looks like the artist asked people to add their own answers to this question. Very cool. It’s signed @SocialStrager” could that be Social Stranger? Neither turned up much relevant on Google. Update: the piece is by Chris Streger stregerdesign.com/HOWL-Art-around-the-park-2012
