Give this rabbit a beer.

A new sculpture in Union Square. Could it be a March hare?
Parks & Recreation is pleased to announce the exhibition of Barry Flanagan’s Large Left Handed Drummer in Union Square Park. The 16′ x 9′ x 8′ bronze sculpture is characteristic of Flanagan’s work and depicts a dancing hare playing a drum. The work will be on display from February 18 - June 24, 2007 and coincides with an exhibition of his sculptures at Chelsea’s Paul Kasmin Gallery (February 24 - March 31, 2007).

Look for a truck parked in the northwest corner of the Plaza - 17th St. & Broadway
Event will be held rain or shine from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m

Computers/laptops, servers, mainframes, monitors, printers, scanners, fax-machines, copiers, network devices (routers,hubs,modems, etc.), peripherals (keyboards,mice, cables, etc.),TV’s, VCR’s & DVD Players

Audio visual devices
Radio/Stereo Equipment
Telecommunication (phones, answering machines, etc.)
Cell Phones, pagers, PDAs
Batteries
During 2005 the Lower East Side Recycling Center collected 230 tons of electronic waste!

Date Rape - Union Square Park

This strange sculpture, placed on and around a tree stump in Union Square Park seems to be titled Date Rape. It looks to be made of paper mache and draped masking tape.
