Someone is chalking the First and the Fourth Amendments around the neighborhood: asking for Comments, Shares and Likes. This chalk was on the hex tiled circle in the Central Plaza of Tompkins Square Park, a place where kids often do chalk drawings.
Wallbooked First Amendment chalked on the green painted wall around the hole where Mary Help of Christians once was.
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”
