Looking for Asian Longhorn Beetle Infestation

Climbing a London Planetree this USDA inspector is looking for signs of Asian Longhorn Beetles. He said that so far the trees of Manhattan look like they are free from this dangerous infestation. Though they are finding some in Queens. London Planetrees are one of the most common trees on the streets of New York. The most striking feature of the London Planetree is its flaking bark that peels to reveal a lighter colored bark underneath.
