When I visit my brother in Myrtle Beach, I am always happy to see the neighborhood cat, Coconut. This year he had a rather sever haircut.

Clarabell, a new addition to my brother’s household, a very sweet but extremely vocal cat. She woke me one morning at 4 to let her out of the house.

It’s the year of the rabbit. Getting ready for the firecracker ceremony yesterday in front of the famous Wo-Hop restaurant on Mott Street in NYC’s Chinatown.

In the front are the confetti poppers so popular in the Chinese New Year celebration.
