Shelter
Swoon is selling a print to raise money to build shelters in Haiti. She writes:
i am headed back to haiti next week!
there is a lot going on there, but we will be very cautious, promise, promise, promise.so, i am writing to bug you for a little tiny bit of wind in our sails.

i have just released a print to support our second trip.
it’s a drawing of one of the boys from the villages where we are working.
it’s a large edition, priced really affordably because we are hoping to cast our net for support very wide, to include people who might not always buy artwork, but who are interested, at the same time as being interested in supporting haiti.

i am wondering if you would be up for spreading the word about this, since it’s only going to be on sale for 2 weeks, and we are trying to generate a lot of money from it to pay for the 5 weeks of house building ahead of us.

if you have any friends or family who might be interested in this, upper playground who is helping us has said that they can get it delivered by christmas on orders that happen soon.

also, if you know any blogs who might want to post something about it, i’ve attached the press release. you can see images of the print, and our project in haiti at the links below.

The Konbit Shelter Project
Walki Print

The print will only be on sale for a limited time until January 1st and is
priced affordably at $125 so that as many people as possible can be
involved with this unique project. The print is available exclusively online at
the Upper Playground Web Store.
