There have been many dead sparrow sightings recently and someone suggested it’s due to the seasonal migration and they are smacking into windows.
I know I see sparrows in NYC all winter long, but maybe they are out-of-towners passing through and not used to our tall building. I felt especially bad after my recent encounter with the singing prodigy in the 6B garden, referenced above.
