I’m guessing that the Brandie Bailey ghost bike being tossed over the schoolyard fence is connected to the major water pipe replacement happening on East Houston Street. Since the Obama motorcade where the cops clipped locks and carted off all the bikes along Houston Street, this memorial bike has been leaning against its usual pole without a lock or plaque and looking bent and ragged. If it was found by school maintenance it is likely they put it aside, as the memorial bike must be well known to them.
