A BBQ at the Generation X community garden on East 4th Street between Avenue B and Avenue C, a garden that could be threatened by the impending rule change on September 17th. This change will endanger many of New York City’s established and thriving community gardens. We need to protect the limited green space we have in our city. Interviewed: Ben Shepard of Times Up. He says if Mayor Bloomberg needs to show leadership on this issue if he wants to be known as the Green Mayor.
