Suffolk Street Bike Lane
Sunday, May 23rd, 2010
Earlier in the day. last Friday, I saw them doing a hasty patching job on this stretch of Suffolk between Rivington and Delancey. It was sorely needed it, as you can see from the unpatched area to the right of the green paint. This street leads to the Entrance to the Williamsburg Bridge for bikes and people and is much traveled by bicycles.
Shame they didn’t do the whole street before putting this bit together.
As close to a perfect illustration of the term half-assed as you can get.
How do you get the comments posted here to show up on your blog posts? that’s really cool.
It’s a plugin for WordPress, works pretty well. It reads the comments on any photo used in the post and adds it to the comments on the blog. Do you have a blog?
Yes, but I have a suspicion it won’t work unless I disable disqus, which I still like too much to let go. Link to the plugin?
I don’t know. disqus probably sucks. I forgot why I installed it.
All I know is that it wanted me to accept a cookie before I could leave a comment.

It looks like it strips the embedded links from the reposts. I was using another plugin before that relied on the title of the photo being the same as the post, which was annoying.
I’ve added the Cyclosity blog to my blogroll.
Why do you like diqus?
