Canadian artist, Frederic Guimont is adapting a comic adaptation of Orwell’s 1984. The novel is in the public domain in Canada. Chapter three will be online in April. Via Boing Boing

  1. Thanks for mentioning the comic. It’s especially heart-warming to see it on a NY city blog. I go down to NY a couple of times a year now and it has truly inspired me for this comic book adaptation.

  2. Hey Freddy, 1984 was a cautionary tale, but unfortunately the current batch of criminals in power are using it as a manual. I’m looking forward to the next page you put up.

  3. I’m almost done drawing chapter 3, then I scan, insert telescreen, print ink & then scan it all again, pass it on to the letter and then will put it online after its proof-read! I’m thinking April for the next 8 pages.
