| Another look at the amazing junk tower in the Sixth and B Community Garden. The tower is the work of lifelong neighborhood resident, Edward Boros. In 1984 Boros, one of the founders of the garden, was restricted by his garden mates to keep his sculptures to his own 4 x 8 plot. So like was done in midtown, he built towards the sky. I haven’t seen much done to it in recent years, but it does appear to be sturdy and in no danger of falling over. |
