Adjusting the net that keeps crap from falling on the heads of pedestrians. I’m not sure at what state this construction is. All I know is that they keep making tremendous noise grinding away whatever some other crew build a couple of years ago.

The Hotel Ludlow, or whatever it is calling itself these days has resumed construction over the past month or so. But I haven’t seen anything substantial happening on the outside.

The closest conjunction was on Tuesday, this photo was taken on Wednesday. Jupiter is on the left, Venus the right. Though Venus is a much smaller planet it is much closer to us and covered in reflective clouds. If you see a very bright object in the sky and it is not a UFO it is generally Venus.
Work has resumed on that skeletal framework of a building next to The Ludlow, that was abandoned in 2008.

I haven't seen the traditional finishing flag on top of the Hotel Ludlow yet, but these rebar look shorter than the ones they used for adding a new floor.
