Some nice line on this latest batch of murals for the Centrefuge project that has been covering this construction shed for the past year or so.
Seeing Choice Royce’s characters always make me smile. Korn too.
The distinctive style of Brooklyn artist, Cake.
I need to go back and check this closer and see if it is pasted on or rendered on-site on the bumpy surface of the shed. The line work is masterful, doubly so if not pre-rendered. Update: It is by Cassie Lynn O’Neal here’s a photo of her drawing it on the shed.

So what does that tag say is it NISI, NISM, or NASA, I”m guessing NASA. But the real star is that beautifully lined masked character on the back. Is that ‘elione’ tagged below it, a signature?

I’ve seen these glasses tags around. Someone turned it into a a Groucho Marx caricature, not sure how many kids of tagging age know Groucho.

When I saw Kenny Scharf painting this mural a couple of weeks ago, he was asking whether he should climb up the precarious ladder and paint one more character on top of the painting. Saying he didn’t like repeating character colors I suggested a shiny black face looking askance at the rest cavorting below. I think he took my suggestion to heart.
