TSPTIP Test Map Sept 7
The Fall is approaching and the leaves are starting to fall. I’m making a push to kick my Tompkins Square Park Tree Identification Project into high gear. Here’s a teaser image of the latest version of the map. I’ll be putting up a print-it-yourself version of the map soon, after I make some corrections. I intend to conduct a tree walk either Saturday or Sunday, Sept. 15/16.
Sept 7: I’ve updated the image above to reflect the work done on it today. I still have some work to do on it before I release a high-res image. TSPTIP.org is not yet active.

Peaceful Grove
I’ve taken the liberty to name the various segments of the park that don’t have official names. I think of them as islands. This island behind the park administration building is probably the most peaceful section.
