Picketing the Strand Bookstore

Aside from the gatherings in Bryant Park, Union Square and Madison Square Park, there were many individual actions and pickets throughout May Day. Here the Strand bookstore is being picketed for unfair labor practices.

I was on the picket line with you on May Day, (for about twenty laps). It was the most meaningful part of the whole day. I thought it was nice of Occupy Wall Street to lend its support to such a noble cause. I hope to hear more about the Strand bookstore issue. I think that all of the readers who patronize this business, (like myself), should reconsider their purchases while the union contract remains unresolved. It was nice seeing UAW, IWW, OWS, (and members of the public), working together for the common goal, which is justice for all working people.
