Civic Fame

The gold statue on top of the Municipal Building in downtown Manhatann. I shot it hand-held using my new Lumix FZ35. It is a 12 megapixel model with an 18x optical zoom. I’m very happy with the camera so far. It also has the ability to shoot video in HD and has a good low light ability.

    Definitely not the bridge, LarryB, probably somewhere on Centre Street. I’ve been shooting it from all angles and I’m going to compile them into a video.
