Ageloff Bones
They appear to be doing serious structural work on the Ageloff Towers on Avenue A.
It is interesting to see the steel girders beneath the brick.
What must it be like living in those corner rooms while this is going on.

  1. This building has a tragic history, as I remember reading, the guy who built this building lost all his money in the crash of ‘29 and the building wasn’t completed yet. He committed suicide by jumping off the roof.

    Interesting how it appears they used terra cotta blocks for the walls and faced them with brick, tells me it must be a steel frame building with curtain walls attached to the steel rather than being solid load bearing brick as was typical a decade or two earlier.
