   i thought they were butterflies too, but i read somewhere that they were some sort of melting heart. i wish i remember the artist’s name, or the website where I found this info

   I went searching through my old blog posts and photos, using butterfly, butterflies, and plaque as search terms and came up with nothing relevant. I know I’ve taken photos of these things. I’ll try "heart." Thanks, ld.

   Now that you say it I do remember hearing that they were supposed to be hearts, and a melting heart does seem right. But I apparently didn’t use the term in my blog.
