A stencil very similar to ones that appeared in Soho in the Eighties, except then the umbrella was held by a girl, same neighborhood, though.

The black rain is coming from four dots, heavily sprayed above, most likely from the stenciler, though the wall is otherwise heavily spray tagged.

Nah, Hambleton used a paint brush, the umbrella girl was a stencil, like this one is.
