Toy Cross

They started taking down the Toy Tower this morning around 9. Most of the toys were dropped, many broke.

  1. Taking the crucifix down first, eh?

  2. No, they cut the tree branches first and then the flag at the pinnacle was cut and thrown to the ground, though I doubt the person with the chain saw knew that that tattered rag was a flag. I have it all on video.

  3. Bitter sweet- considering the maker knew it was to come down one day.

  4. A sad day

  9. Why do broken toys bother me so much?

  10. Goodness! I must have seen you there! I’m just uploading my photos… All the best, Lorcan

  11. I don’t recognize you from your icon, Lorcan. I was using a monopod and mostly shooting video.

  12. Give it a proper burial.

  13. Despite those yahoos who occasionally want to ban flag-burning, burning is the proper way to dispose of a flag damaged beyond use.
