Art Installation 17th Street

Halfway between disgusting and ethereal. Installation in window on W. 17th Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, south side of the street. Does anyone know if these windows are regularly used for installations? This one looks fairly neglected and may have been here for years.  Artist unknown.

  1. Cool !!!!

  2. Yes half-way between disgusting and ethereal. Also in the installation was an obviously used medical back brace.

  5. Hey, this is not my work! The artist who made this did not put their name in the display, mine was a blanket and a medical brace in the left window. Completely different.

  6. OK, I’ll take your name out of the post, Adrienne. It must have been frustrating googling yourself and finding someone else’s work. ;)

  7. Exactly why I looked – thanks a bunch and good luck with the blog!

  8. Yeah, I could tell because you joined flickr just to send me that message, right. Thanks. I changed the attributions on the blog as well.

  9. Just a note, the top image is not my work, it was done by another artist who failed to put their name in the display. My display was the bottom, the blanket and brace.
