On Randi Rhodes today: Michigan Democratic ballots tomorrow have a space for write-in votes, but if you put the name of your candidate in the space, it invalidates the ballot. Crazy! The only candidates you can check off are Hillary, Gravell, or Kucinich. Here’s hoping progressive voters in Michigan cast their vote for the only Democratic candidate of the three who has opposed the war in Iraq from the beginning. Vote Dennis Kucinich.
What to know about Tuesday’s Mich. primary
When Michigan lawmakers decided last summer to move the state’s presidential primary to Jan. 15, the intent was to make Michigan as important as Iowa or New Hampshire in the national campaign cycle.
Instead, the move seems to have created maximum hassle and expense with minimal benefit.
