My theory is that they are the offspring of those people who caused the mortgage crisis but got those golden parachutes when they were fired. But it’s just my theory, trying to make sense of what seems senseless.

The piece becomes even more appropriate now that Streit’s matzoh factory, next door to ABC No Rio, is announcing its intent to sell the building. The price? $25 million. Now you KNOW that for that much money, it’s NOT going to be low-income or affordable housing or a community space:
