  3. The metal probably expands and contracts in the sun, and the paste loses adhesion to that impenetrable surface in the rain. At least that’s my guess.

  4. yeah its the paint on the wall. it slowly cracks open because of the constant pressure applied by the wheatpaste. its strange but ive seen peeling wheatpaste expose brick on a painted wall
