I only saw a bit of the film. I didn't realize that the show was closing so soon. I intended to go back and see it all.

yes, that was a choice moment. artist fights back with wit. the wit itself was worth five H itself. wish I'd have know him. seemed like a genuine person, it makes me really mad how blind people are... like him telling the people at the party where he was filming what his intentions were. he had to!!!!!! painful, just painful... and asking some man if he wanted to buy the Lucky Strike James Dean picture,, "oh, well, I'll think about it." sorry to go on, just saw the movie... it's very fresh in my emotions and thoughts about how people are with not only artists but people they know.

I loved the story about his selling a piece and getting bargained down from $2000 to $1500 for it, and then when the piece was delivered a quarter of it was cut out.

It's a great film about an incredibly passive-aggressive person. the psychological shit going on with this guy would probably fill a couple of books... and the people they interview about him are so utterly clueless to how much pain he felt, it kindof hurts me to watch it. I want to scream at them all, it's so weird. oh, like he gave me this stuff, duh, I dunno... the best is the accusatory picture in the room with all the pictures facing the walls. HELLO!? cop doesn't get it at all... really amazing psychological document more than the art which I found kindof high schooly - although very eloquent... this is just my opinion. but I'm more for artists who can really draw - and I know what good drawing is, I'm not just blabbing. this is my own irrational bias I admit.

I didn't realize that the show was closing so soon. I saw it on Jan 2 and didn't get around to posting this until yesterday. It closed on the 6th. I'm sad I didn't get the chance to get some Flickrites over there. It was one of the best shows I've seen in years.

"How to Draw A Bunny" was in the show chuckwheat.
