I remember that shadow painting from before the parking lot installed those giant car elevators.
That guy had a pretty good art career going for a while there, and his “shadows” were strategically placed. They used to scare the hell out of people.
I would LOVE to see Richards Shadow Men back up on walls.
It would be AWESOME to have one painted directly on my brick wall in my apartment.

Heaps, do you remember when those elevators were installed? I have some photos of his stuff from the 80′s. One of these days I’ll post them.
Man I miss those shadows! It was a pleasure to see one mysteriously “appear” in the Downtown Show at the Grey Art Gallery.

Get a can of black paint and a 6 inch brush and give it a whack, pjoust. I bet you could do a fair approximation.
