Cindy Sheehan: Capitol Police Apology is “Crock of Horse Manure”
“The Capitol police tried the tactic of smearing me and lying about me when I was in jail to the media. I guess they didn’t count on the Reuter’s reporter who was sitting right next to me.

They also started lying about me when I was in jail, I heard a female officer say “She took off her jacket and threw it.” And Mike Weight, who arrested me, said I “stood up and started yelling something.”

The Capitol police could not support their lies, that’s why they apologized.”

  1. found this in google blogsearch. the fact that she was arrested for doing nothing wrong is scary and truly highlights how insane things have gotten with Mr. Danger.

  2. “Mr Danger,” sounds like a Bond Villain. I bet Sean Connery could deal with him.

  3. “Since when is free speech conditional on whether you agree with the president?” Sorry…it isn’t. But there’s a difference between freedom of speech and freedom to disrupt. We have hear a member of congress who invited a woman who has stated that George Bush is ten times the terrorist that Osama bin Laden is to watch that president deliver his State of the Union Speech. Legal? Yes. Cheesy behavior? You bet.

  4. Kalinita, she wasn’t disrupting anything by sitting there wearing a tee shirt. If anything the police created more of a disruption by yelling out and carting her off roughly in handcuffs. Her son was killed in the illegal war George Bush schemed to create. Is civility to be utmost on her mind?
