Mike Malloy replaced on WLIB

Friday, January 20th, 2006

WLIB, Air America’s flagship station, located in NYC is replacing the ever amazing Mike Malloy with the oh-so-lame Satellite Sisters. This deal is apparently bringing in much needed income to AA, and they promise to try and syndicate his program on another NY station. You should still be able to stream his show on the Air America website. And archives of the program are available at Air America Place and whiterosesociety.org

  1. Mike Malloy is one of the most intelligent, lucid voices Air America has. Yet another bad decision by their often-inept management.

  2. I second Payaso’s saying. I guess I’m fortunate in the Detroit market to get two out of three hours of Mike. Instead of the first hour of Mike, I get from my local Clear Channel station (that currently dabbles in the “progressive talk” fad) not lame but outright insulting…Phil Hendry.
