I came up with this slogan and let these crazy folks use it for their charity/social organization. They just sent me this clock. The tiny blackfly house is acutally hollow, and for all I know may actually atract some blackflies to my apartment. I should block up that hole.

I got this email from Holly of the MBBA reacting to the misspelling of my name in the newpaper article, and other inaccuracies there.
“Hi Mike,
Sorry your name was spelled wrong… I know I spelled it correctly for her. She had several othermistakes in the article ,too, like the amount of sales (too much) and the amount donated by liberty graphics (too little). She got thebasic story right although she could have put some contact info in. Oh well. Glad you like the clock. Will be checking out your blog site soon and your flickr site again…Thanks again for Defenders of the wilderness. Holly
P.S. The MBBA’s annual convention is coming up on February 29th ifyou can make it.”

"of a young man in New York – Mike Natalle – who wrote about going camping with his friends upstate"
Famous again, I should have got your autograph when I had the chance!
Ha, yeah famous in Bangor, Maine, and they misspelled my name.
Too funny! Those buggers (pun intended), if anything like horseflies, can be vicious, too.
They’re more annoying, extremely annoying, than vicious, ruminatrix.
Hey!
Don’t you dare block up that hole. How can we defend the wilderness if our habitat is destroyed? One person at a store that sells these houses for us said” I don’t get it.If the blackfly goes in the house what kills them?” Aaaaaargh! Oh well, they say there is one born every minute. May the swarm be with you, Holly
That’s hilarious, Holly.
