Google news source list – JohnnyMC of Private Radio wrote a php script that captures the Google News home page every 15 minutes. It then logs all the news sources it finds.
I can’t find anything else on this right wing site to recommend, but this is really cool. Via Linkfilter

Mike Epstein of Satan’s Laundromat is walking all the streets of Manhattan. “The only real essential is a good map. Unfortunately, the only good map of New York, the traditional hand-drawn Hagstrom, is dead, replaced by the modern computer-generated monstrosity that puts Manhattan at an angle, straightens curves, and omits all the interesting details. But I have to have some substrate to carry my annotations of what I have and haven’t walked, and my old Hagstrom is too precious to mark up, so new Hagstrom it is. So far my list of new-Hagstrom errors is dozens long, and I’m only a quarter of the way through my walk.” – Mike Epstein, City Walker – Gothamist
Caleb Smith did the same thing, he finished on Sunday, December 19th, 2004. On Wednesday, March 30th, 2005 at 7:30, he will be giving a talk about the walk at “Makor“, a West Side branch of the 92nd Street Y, 35 West 67th Street, between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue.
