Rachel Grossman (17) was my great aunt. It is very strange to see her name on a sidewalk where the entire family lived. I never realized that she was being recognized.

My wife just finished reading the book entitled “triangle” by David Von Drehle. I’m half-way through and now up to the fire itself. Very interesting book, but a very tragic story – so many young people died. Now I can better understand why so many Jews became and stayed “liberal” and pro-union.
These young girls were at the vanguard of the labor reform movement.
