Looking directly up a tree, using the pinhole adapter. I’ve improvised a viewfinder to help me compose the shots. The foreground leaves are sprouting directly from the trunk. Tenth Street between Ave A and B.

Duck

Here’s a duck that has done hard service. Its paint is a bit chipped. But it was obviously rendered by someone with the skills of an old time sign painter. Compare this artistic work with its likely fate. - Grand Street Near Essex.
