| Air America Radio the new liberal talk network with Al Franken and Janeane Garofalo is on the air and streaming from their site. In NYC it is on - WLIB 1190 AM
Michael Moore was on Franken’s first show. Moore apologized live to Al (”Mr President”) Gore for Moore’s support of Nader in 2000. Franken was funny, but he seems a bit awkward. That’s understandable, trying to fill three hours of radio is not an easy task. He’ll loosen up as he gets more experience. Randi Rhodes follows his show. She started out interviewing Greg Palast. Her radio technique is much slicker, it’s high energy and pretty funny. She just did an ambush interview on Ralph Nader, yelling at him for running for prez this year. He tried to get his talking points in there for about ten minutes and then hung up. Air Apparent: New Radio Network Sees Profit in Liberal Views - By Rory O’Connor on mediachannel.org |
