I don’t know who approved the design for these bus-stop signs, but they are not durable or safe. The poles are fiberglas filled with concrete, and snap like a dry twig when hit by a car. This may mean less damage to the car, but it’s not that great for any pedestrians conked by the pole. Houston and Essex Streets. |
