Looks like Mosaic Man - Jim Power is debuting a new project in Tompkins Square Park: mosaic covered bird or squirrel houses made from mail boxes. He is known for gluing colorful ceramic shards onto lamp posts and such in the East Village, and he’s been doing so for years. That’s his lamp pole mosaic and his rolled-up flag in the photo in the May 24th blog entry. |
